Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Discount Pound uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit discountpound.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as whether you are signed in, your preferences or security settings.

Similar technologies, including browser storage, pixels and device identifiers, may also be used for similar purposes. In this policy, we use the word “cookies” to include these technologies where relevant.

Cookies used by Discount Pound

Discount Pound uses strictly necessary cookies and storage technologies to operate the website safely and provide features that you request. These may include:

• Session and sign-in cookies — used to keep you signed in to an account and enable account-related features.
• Security cookies or tokens — used to help protect the website, prevent misuse and keep forms or account actions secure.
• Preference storage — used to remember essential choices, such as a cookie-consent preference where a consent banner is displayed.

These cookies are necessary for the website or a feature you have requested to work correctly. You can block them in your browser, but parts of Discount Pound, including sign-in or account features, may then not work properly.

Optional analytics, advertising and social-media cookies

Discount Pound will not use non-essential analytics, advertising, remarketing or social-media tracking cookies unless we provide clear information about them and obtain consent where required by law.

If we introduce an optional tool in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy to explain the provider, purpose and duration of the relevant cookies. Where required, you will be given a choice before those cookies are placed on your device.

Affiliate links and third-party websites

Some links on Discount Pound are affiliate links. When you click one, you may be directed to a retailer, affiliate network or other third-party website. That website may use its own cookies, tracking technologies and referral identifiers.

Those third parties are responsible for their own cookies and privacy practices. Please review their privacy and cookie policies after leaving Discount Pound. Our relationship with affiliate links is explained in our Affiliate Disclosure.

Managing cookies

Most browsers allow you to review, block or delete cookies through their settings. The method depends on your browser and device. Blocking or deleting cookies may affect the way some parts of Discount Pound work.

Where we provide a cookie-consent or cookie-settings tool on the website, you can use that tool to review or change your choices for optional cookies. Removing cookies from your browser does not automatically delete any account information held by Discount Pound.

Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies or related technologies changes. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
